The Springfield Project is a safe and welcoming space where people from diverse backgrounds in our community can meet and receive support.

✨ Our first session at School Readiness Stay and P ✨ Our first session at School Readiness Stay and Play last week✨ Startwell

We focused on helping children settle in and feel comfortable, while introducing the importance of positive role modelling—children learn so much by copying the behaviours they see around them.

We spent time welcoming families, getting to know one another, and setting simple ground rules and routines to support a calm and consistent environment. Parents completed their All About Me forms and photo consent forms, helping us better understand each child and their individual needs.

It was wonderful to see parents and children engaging together, with lots of positive interactions, sharing, and gentle guidance already being modelled. 💛

We’re looking forward to building on this in the coming weeks!

Last Saturday, we were so happy to welcome two lovely families to our Family Mile! The sunshine, fresh air, and great company made it extra special, while the little ones had the best time exploring nature and enjoying their adventure.

Here are some highlights from our day 📸✨

🌟 Lets look at our fantastic REAL (Raising Early A 🌟 Lets look at our fantastic REAL (Raising Early Achievement in Literacy) home learning session last week. 🌟

Child and sibling dived into the sand pit, using equipment to mold, squeeze, and poke. 🛻🚚🚕

These sensory experiences aren't just fun—they are the building blocks of literacy! Exploring textures and "making marks" in the sand helps develop the fine motor skills needed for writing later on.
