The Springfield Project is looking for a new Trustee to join our Board

The Springfield Project is an award-winning Christian charity in Sparkhill, Birmingham that has operated for over 30 years showing God’s love in our community through practical service and action for families in one of the poorest areas in the UK. We help over 3,000 people each year and have exciting plans for the future.

Our well-functioning board is in a positive position and is now looking for the right person to join as a new trustee. We welcome applicants who can support our continuous development with skills around law, communications and marketing, and/or strategic planning. We would particularly welcome applicants from the Springfield community or those who reflect the community of the area. This is a voluntary role.

To express an interest in becoming a trustee, or to find out more, please contact our CEO, Sarah Robbins on [email protected].

Home Safety/Water safety Workshop 🏡🧸at our School Home Safety/Water safety Workshop 🏡🧸at our School Readiness Stay and Play session Startwell

Families took part in a Home Safety Workshop focused on helping children stay safe while learning through play.
Our younger children explored a variety of sensory and interactive activities, while the older children enjoyed taking part in an obstacle course to support their physical development, balance, and coordination.

Families also took our Startwell characters around the different activities and environments, encouraging discussions about safe play and making healthy choices at home and outdoors.
Parents were provided with key home safety messages and useful handouts to continue promoting healthy habits at home. 🍎

😊 Here are some highlights from our Startwell Play 😊 Here are some highlights from our Startwell Play and Stay session! ✨ Startwell

In our Startwell Stay and play session the under-2s dove into a wonderful exploratory experience with some jelly play. We love providing these messy activities. The little ones had a blast emptying, pouring, and squishing.

Meanwhile, our older children were busy mastering their fine motor skills—cutting and chopping fruit in our role-play kitchen, and using different utensils to shape and mold playdough. We also had some great chats with parents about the Startwell Character #2SnackMax
