Our Film The Springfield Project

In this film, Ruth shares her experience of finding friendship, guidance and support through our Children’s Centre and Best Start Family Hub after moving to Birmingham for a fresh start.

Her story highlights how the right support can help parents build confidence, connect with their community and give children the best possible start.

🎬 Child Friendly Neighbourhood: Daliah’s Story

In this film, we share Daliah’s story and her experience of our Child Friendly Neighbourhood programme in Sparkhill, Birmingham.

After attending our Summer Playscheme, Daliah and her mum experienced a positive change in their lives. Her story shows how inclusive play, friendship and community support can help children feel happy, safe, included and connected.

Through Daliah’s journey, we see the difference that a welcoming community can make for children and families.

💚 What did our families get up to at Stay & Play l 💚 What did our families get up to at Stay & Play last week? 🧸 Startwell

At our School Readiness stay and play, we had lots of fun visiting our local park and exploring nature with the children. 🏞️

The children enjoyed planting cress seeds, supporting Sammy Skills through hands-on learning, and moving their bodies outdoors with Active Azra. 🌱
