15 Hours A Week Free Childcare through Early Education Entitlement

Do you have a 2-year-old child?

Your child could access 15 hours a week of FREE childcare through the Early Education Entitlement. Eligible 2-year-old children will receive 15 hours of free childcare or early education for 38 weeks – a total of 570 hours per year, which you can use flexibly with one or more child-care provider.

Suitable for families either working or not working and receiving certain benefits. Some providers will allow you to stretch the hours over 52 weeks, using fewer hours per week.

To check if your child qualifies for a funded Early Education childcare place, contact us at The Springfield Project Family Hub on 0121 777 2722. Applying is easy. Simply complete a short online application form at: www.birmingham.gov.uk/earlyeducation

To check what financial help you could receive, try the online interactive quick calculator at: http://www.gov.uk/childcare-calculator
