Share your experiences of infant feeding and help improve support and services for parents

Birmingham and Solihull Family Hubs are pleased to share an opportunity for parents to contribute to their upcoming 5-year Infant Feeding Strategy. This work has been commissioned by Birmingham and Solihull Councils. Your insights and experiences are invaluable in ensuring that the councils develop a strategy that reflects the needs and voices of the community. The strategy aims to improve infant feeding support and services, ensuring that all families have access to the best possible care and guidance. Your feedback will be completely anonymous. You can share your experiences on this link. The survey will close on Sunday 20 October 2024, so we encourage you to take part as soon as possible. Your participation will directly influence how services are shaped and delivered, ensuring that they meet the needs of families in our community. Thank you very much for your time and support.

The Springfield Project is a safe and welcoming space where people from diverse backgrounds in our community can meet and receive support.

We marked Children’s Mental Health Week with the theme “This is My Place” 💛 — a powerful reminder of how important it is for children to feel heard, supported, and that they truly belong.

At Springfield Project, we celebrated through our School Readiness Stay and Play sessions, creating a welcoming space where children could explore, connect, and feel safe 🧸🎨

We also enjoyed using dance and movement as a fun way to express emotions, boost mood, and build confidence — linking in with 180 Katie and Mickey me size, looking after our bodies to make sure we know how much we eat.💃🩰
Thank you to all the families who joined us in supporting children’s wellbeing and helping create spaces where every child can thrive.

We’ve been busy helping our families incorporating 180 minutes of physical activity into every day!

To get moving, we broke out the hula hoops, bean bags, tunnels, and balls. While some of our little explorers needed a helping hand to master the hoops, everyone had a absolute blast staying active!

We also celebrated International Story Week with an active retelling of Walking Through the Jungle. The children did an amazing job jumping into the action, shouting out the refrains, and getting creative with playdough before the active session.
