English for Beginners
Build your confidence in basic English with our Creative English for Health course. This is a 10-week course that explores several topics from general health, pregnancy, infant feeding, family planning and more.
This course aims to:
- Deliver enjoyable, culturally sensitive learning activities, to help learners improve their English language skills.
- Use ‘social learning’ activities to build learner’s confidence using English e.g. local visits, joining a library etc.
- Help learners establish new social networks to aid social integration.
Classes take place at The Springfield Centre, Springfield Road, B13 9NY
We have 2 classes each week. Thursdays 12:30-14:30 OR Fridays 09:30-11:30
Parents are welcome to bring your babies with you. However, we kindly ask that toddlers stay at home for these sessions.
