🙏 Thank You 💚 As The Springfield Project Through 🙏 Thank You 💚

As The Springfield Project Through My Eyes film series comes to an end, we'd like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who made it possible.

Thank you to the families and community members who generously shared their personal stories and experiences.

We're also grateful to our staff, volunteers and partners for their continued support throughout this film series.

A special thank you to our film producer for capturing these stories with such care, authenticity and compassion, helping us bring our community's voices to life.

Finally, thank you to everyone who watched, liked, commented on and shared our stories. Your support has helped these voices reach even more people across our community.

😊 World Smile Day – Sharing Smiles and Kindness! 😊 😊 World Smile Day – Sharing Smiles and Kindness! 😊 Startwell

Last week, we celebrated World Smile Day at our School Readiness Stay and Play session by talking about what makes us smile/Oral Health workshop, and how a simple smile or act of kindness can brighten someone’s day. 💛

With Suzy Startwell, we explored how children learn by copying the adults around them, modelling kindness, positive emotions and friendly smiles. We also linked in Smiley Shen to remind families about the importance of looking after their teeth, brushing twice a day with fluoride toothpaste, and registering with a dentist if they haven’t already done so. 🦷✨

Let’s keep our smiles happy, healthy and bright! 😁 What makes you smile?

📚 Learning About Black History Month ☺️ 🖤💛❤️💚 As 📚 Learning About Black History Month ☺️ 🖤💛❤️💚

As part of our Black History Month celebrations, the children enjoyed exploring colour, paint, and music through a creative sensory experience! 🎵🎨

There was lots of excitement as they splattered, stamped, brushed, and painted using a variety of tools, including paintbrushes, stamps, and even their hands! 🫟🖌️🙌

Activities like these encourage creativity, self-expression, and confidence while allowing children to explore different textures, movements, and sounds in a fun and engaging way. 🌟
