The Springfield Project is proud to be working with ecobirmingham to deliver the ‘Reuseolution’ campaign to promote a green New Year’s Resolution for 2026. This is a city-wide challenge as part of Building Greener Communities to encouraging people across Birmingham to buy nothing new and instead explore creative, community-led ways to reuse, repair and rethink what we already have.
Reuseolution is about making sustainable living practical and positive. Rather than focusing on what we can’t do, it celebrates skills, sharing and small actions that add up to meaningful change — values that strongly align with our community work here at Springfield Centre.
As part of Reuseolution, we’re hosting two free community events:
👚 Re-stitch. Re-style. Reuseolution

A hands-on upcycling workshop led by Rukshana from Ecoraa, where participants will learn how to transform preloved shawl fabrics into a wearable Desi jacket.
