The museum featured exhibits on Birmingham’s history, international art, and changing lifestyles over time. A meaningful highlight of the visit was viewing an artwork exhibition created by children from the Springfield Project playscheme and art group. The trip was attended by 11 volunteers, the majority of who attended for the first time.

The Springfield Project is absolutely thrilled to announce that we have been successful in securing funding from The National Lottery Community Fund to continue our Child Friendly Neighbourhood Project for the next 4 years! 👏

This funding will enable us to continue the work we started three years ago creating safe spaces for young people in Sparkhill to come together and play together, enriching their lives with stimulating activities, and empowering them make the changes they want to see in the area.

We are very grateful to for their support in making this possible, and we can't wait to get stuck in!
