Youth Programme

The Springfield Project has recently worked with Year 12 students from Moseley School to develop our youth programme. In the Spring term of 2024, our Youth Community Research group conducted interviews with their peers about what it’s like to grow up in Sparkhill, opportunities young people have and challenges they may face. They collated this data and presented it to us, and others, at Birmingham Council House. Their findings have been invaluable in helping us to develop our programme for young people here at The Springfield Project. There will be more youth groups to come, so be sure to watch this space!

Youth Volunteering

Volunteering is a great way to make a difference in your community, gain experience and meet other young people in a safe and friendly environment. We offer opportunities for young people aged 14+ to volunteer in our holiday playschemes, events, afterschool clubs and more. Please contact 0121 777 2722 for more information.

Youth Advisory Board

Our Youth Advisory Board is a space for young people to come together and inform our future youth programmes here at The Springfield Project. The Board will plan and discuss improving Sparkhill, increasing opportunities for young people, and suggest potential new youth groups. This will be launching September 2024. Please contact us on 0121 777 2722 for more information about how to get involved.
