Welcome to the Springfield Project

The Springfield Project has a passion for our local community. We are committed to providing a safe and welcoming space in which people from diverse backgrounds can meet and receive support.  We are a registered charity and company limited by guarantee.

The Project developed from St Christopher's Church vision for supporting families in the local area and wishing to share God's love in our community.

You can see a film about the Project here.

Percy Road Centre: 9:00am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday - Children's Centre services only

Other children's centres in our locality are open 8:00am to 6:00pm.

Springfield Children's Centre

We work in partnership with Birmingham City Council to deliver children's centre services providing activities and support for families with children under five.

Mini Springers Nursery

Our nursery, Mini Springers, aims to provide a welcoming and friendly environment for children and their families. The Nursery is well resourced with qualified staff and appropriate equipment to provide a quality setting in which we can work alongside your child to develop their potential.

Springfield Neighbour Scheme

The Springfield Neighbour Scheme, in partnership with local GPs, supports adults in our community. We offer a safe place for people to come and talk to others, have fun and improve their wellbeing.

Opening Doors

Opening Doors offers adult learning opportunities.

Raising the Roof

Raising the Roof is a portfolio of six properties providing affordable housing for vulnerable local families. The properties have also transformed the local housing stock by transforming six vacant and dishevelled properties in to functioning family homes.

Volunteers are involved in many different aspects of the Springfield Project. Find out about our volunteering opportunities.
