Nursery

Nursery The Springfield Project

About our Nurseries

We understand that young children learn through play. Our activities are based on professional research into the learning needs of young children. During each session your child will have the opportunity to enjoy lots of stimulating and exciting play activities, develop a wide range of pre-school skills and have great fun at the same time!

We provide a welcoming and friendly environment for children and their families. The nurseries are well resourced with qualified staff and appropriate equipment to provide a quality setting in which we can work alongside your child to develop their potential.

Session times:

Morning session: 8.45am-11.45am

Afternoon session: 12.45pm-3.45pm

Information for parents

Please click here for useful information about our nurseries.

Apply for a place

Children aged 3 and over are eligible for 15 hours of free childcare per week, which we provide as morning or afternoon sessions, Monday to Friday. This is funded by the Government. Children must attend regularly otherwise your place may be allocated to someone else.

We ask parents to contribute £1.00 each week to help pay for daily snacks and extras including cooking ingredients, toys, equipment, treats at celebrations etc.

Children under 3 who are not eligible for 2 year old funding in the term before they start will be required to pay £90 per week. All fees must be paid weekly or monthly in advance. All children under 3 are required to attend 5 sessions per week.

Please note that two weeks’ notice is required if you intend to withdraw your child from Nursery.

To apply for a place you can download an application form.  Completed forms must be handed into reception together with your child’s original birth certificate.

Unexpected closures

If we do decide to close for any reason, such as bad weather, we will text parents to let them know.
