Directions for getting to the Springfield Centre The Springfield Centre Springfield Road Moseley Birmingham B13 9NY Directions are given below, but you can download all this information in a PDF here The Springfield Centre is located on Springfield Road, by the roundabout which forms the junction between Springfield Road, Woodlands Road and College Road. The main entrance to the Centre fronts on to Springfield Road, however the car park is accessed from the back of St Christopher's Church, situated on Woodlands Road. Why not do your bit for the environment? Parking is limited at the Springfield Centre, so it's much easier to come to us by public transport. The Springfield Centre is easily accessible by bus. The numbers on the map below represent the buses that stop nearest the Springfield Centre. 
For information on bus timetables, visit http://www.networkwestmidlands.com/ Buses generally run every 5 - 10 minutes. Journey time from the city centre on the 5, 6 or 31 bus will take about 25 minutes. You will need £1.70 in exact change for a single journey - Birmingham bus drivers don't give change. If you're on the 6 or the 31, get out in Sparkhill outside the Post Office / A-Z Bikes. If you're on the 5, this takes you onto Springfield Road itself: get out at the first stop on Springfield Road (just after the bus has turned right) - outside LloydsTSB. The Springfield Centre is just a little way up Springfield Road on your right, by the roundabout. If you get the 6 or the 31, just walk from the Post Office to Springfield Road (this means crossing Stratford Road by LloydsTSB). By Train
From Hall Green Station The nearest station is Hall Green, 1 mile away. Trains run to Hall Green from Birmingham Moor Street station. Once you get to Hall Green station, you could walk to the Springfield Centre (see map below). Walking from Hall Green is very straightforward and should take you about 15 minutes. Alternatively, you could get the number 5 or 6 bus from Stratford Road. See the By Bus section above for more info. If you want to order a taxi, see the By Taxi section below. 
From Birmingham New Street Station By bus from New Street station: From the main station concourse (after having passed through the ticket barrier), go straight ahead and up the escalators into the Pallasades Shopping Centre. At the top of the escalators, turn left, follow the corridor round a corner to the left, and then turn immediately right. This will take you outside down a wide ramp. When you get to the bottom of the ramp, continue walking straight on and you will come to the bottom of Corporation Street, where there are many bus stops. The first bus stop you come to is for the buses 5 and 6. Two stops further up is the stop for the number 31. Now see the section By Bus above.
By train from New Street station: If you are arriving in Birmingham at New Street station and you want to take the train to Hall Green station (as described above), you can walk from New Street station to Moor Street station. From the main station concourse (after having passed through the ticket barrier), go diagonally to your left and follow the corridor out of the station (passing M&S on the way). Once outside, continue straight on until you get to a pedestrian crossing. Cross here across 2 lanes of traffic. Once on the other side of the road, turn left and walk under the tunnel. Once on the other side of the tunnel, cross the road using the pedestrian crossing to your left. Cross 4 lanes of traffic, and Moor Street station is straight in front of you. By taxi from New Street station: From the main station concourse (after having passed through the ticket barrier), go diagonally to your right and exit the station through the glass doors. From Birmingham Moor Street Station By bus from Moor Street station: Exit from Moor Street station and you will find yourself on a busy dual carriageway. Cross this road at the pedestrian crossing near the main entrance to the station. Cross the road towards the Pavilions Shopping Centre. By Subway (the sandwich shop), turn left and go up the steps/ramp with blue railings. At the top, turn right and keep walking. You will come into a square with coloured poles, with Nationwide Building Society on your right. Keep walking straight on towards Barratts shoe shop. This street is New Street. After a couple of minutes walking, you will get to where Corporation Street crosses the pedestrianised New Street. Turn right here, and you will see a row of bus stops. The first bus stop you come to is for the buses 5 and 6. Two stops further up is the stop for the number 31. Now see the section By Bus above. There is a short stretch of cycle track on College Road near the Springfield Centre.
By Car
The Springfield Centre is located just off the Stratford Road, which is one of the main arterial routes into/out of Birmingham. You can find directions online by visiting websites such as MultiMap, GoogleMaps, AA RoutePlanner and entering our postcode: B13 9NY. Please note, if you look for the Springfield Centre on the satellite images on Google Maps, our building is shown as a steel frame because the picture was taken during the building process! The entrance to our car park is off Woodlands Road, but the car park is very small, so please be prepared to park nearby and walk to the Centre. On-street parking is sometimes available on Woodlands Road. Alternatively, there is a large car park a 2 minute walk away, just off Stratford Road. This car park is shown on the bus map above. It is next to the former United Church building, which is currently being refurbished.
